The 82-metre Lürssen superyacht Haven has departed Germany and embarked on her maiden voyage as she prepares for delivery to her owner.

Also known as Project Cali, Haven has been designed in-house at Lürssen by Lead Exterior Designer Jim Robert Sluijter. She is characterised by a low and sophisticated profile, with a sleek reverse bow and graceful sweeping exterior lines.

The tri-deck yacht features interior design crafted by RWD, with generous interior and exterior space onboard. Key features of Haven include her large infinity pool on her aft deck, with twin staircases leading to her oversized swim platform.

Notably, Haven boasts a 30-metre sundeck, offering panoramic sea-views, complete with an opulent Jacuzzi, bar, dining area, lounge, pizza oven and even an outdoor cinema. She is also equipped with moveable windbreak panels, which provide guests with shelter from all weather conditions.

“The owner fell in love with the first outline of the project, and as a result, Haven has barely changed from the original sketch,” explained designer Jim Robert Sluijter. “Haven feels very different from many other yachts; she has a practical and functional design that places great emphasis on outdoor living.”

The beach club of Haven displays fold-down platforms, forming expansive sea terraces to port and starboard. The beach club is also connected to a large swim platform aft, providing guests with seamless access to the water.

“Kees de Keizer and his team, who oversaw the build on behalf of the owner, and RWD were exceptional partners throughout the construction of Haven, and the relationships they forged with our employees are incredibly robust,” added Peter Lürßen, CEO of Lürssen Yachts.

“I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone involved in Haven; the results testify to their upstanding communications and commitment to the project.”

According to SYT iQ, Lürssen has several yachts in-build, including the 136.8-metre Ali Baba, and the 134.2-metre superyacht Deep Blue.
